This 3-hour activity will take you on a 12 km (7.4 miles) electric bike ride from Banff, followed by a 2 km (1 mile) hike into Sundance Canyon. You'll start this tour along the Bow River trail system, before taking a wooded trail to Cave & Basin National Historic Site, the birthplace of Canada's national park system. Cycle along the Bow River on a paved bike path to the Sundance Canyon trailhead.
From here, you'll begin your hike into Sundance Canyon through a lush alpine forest, crossing several small wooden bridges and rocky steps while admiring the canyon's tumultuous waters. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Bow Valley, Mt. Norquay, Mt. Edith, and Mt. Cory, before continuing through the forest to your electric bikes for the ride back to Banff.
