A 2-hour guided kayaking excursion through the ice floes of Forillon National Park in Gaspésie.

Course of events
Please allow around 3 hours and 15 minutes on site.
- Arrival 15 minutes early
- Welcome, introduction, Q&A, and check of clothing and equipment
- Composting toilets available on site
- Equipment provided (neoprene wetsuit, waterproof trousers and jacket, hood, boots, gloves and mittens)
- Transport if necessary
- Safety briefing
- Launch from Cap aux Os or Penouille beach depending on ice conditions
- Departure for a 2-hour kayaking excursion
- Paddling towards the ice and looking for signs of wildlife
- Main part of the activity near the drifting ice
- Return to the beach
- Landing, packing up and warming up
- Debrief and end of the activity
Activity requirements
You will be asked to sign a liability waiver form before the activity begins.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You must show your student card to benefit from the student rate.
A minimum of 3 participants is required for the activity to take place.

As animals are wild and unpredictable, you may not be able to meet them during the activity.
Observing the behaviour of wild animals in their natural environment is a privilege. It implies respect for a code of ethics that will be explained by the guide and must be observed.
