Activity description

Discover sled dogs, or rather dog sledding in Quebec, and explore the snowy plains and forests of the Saint-Liguori region, just an hour from Montreal!

In the company of passionate guides, this introduction to driving a dog sled in Saint-Liguori will give you an incredible getaway in the heart of the Quebec winter. Warmly dressed for the cold, you will meet the sled dogs at the kennel, where your guide will give you a short course on driving techniques and preparing the sled. You will also have the chance to get to know your adventurous companions, who are only too eager to stretch their legs with you!

For 1 hour or more, depending on your preference, you will set off on a dog-sleigh ride in Saint-Liguori along magnificent snow-covered trails. A mix of plains and forests awaits you, on groomed trails making the outing accessible to anyone in good physical condition. If you wish, the passenger and driver can swap places along the way so that everyone can try their hand at driving the sled! Finally, when you return to the kennels at the end of your excursion, you can enjoy a special moment of play and cuddles with the dogs and puppies over a hot drink, to round off the activity in style.

Don't wait any longer to discover dog sledding near Montreal and make the most of Quebec's snow-covered landscapes while getting your fill of thrills!

I never drove a dog sled before - letting me drive bymyself was surprising but big fun! Took me a few manovers to become more selfsecure. Loved it. Be aware of the risks every sport owns.
