Discover Dog Sledding on the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac

The Ferme 5 Étoiles Holiday Centre invites you to try one of Canada’s most iconic activities by discovering dog sledding – known in Québec as traîneau à chiens – and to enjoy a unique experience in direct contact with the wildlife and natural landscapes of the Saguenay Fjord. Comfortably seated as a passenger in a sled pulled by 8 to 10 dogs and led by a professional musher, you’ll be able to take in the scenery at your leisure and fully savour the moment.

Your adventure begins with a meeting with the experienced mushers who will accompany you on the outing. They’ll share their knowledge of this remarkable discipline before introducing you to your team of eager huskies, ready to set off on the trail. You will then embark on a 40–45 minute dog-sledding excursion in the heart of the Saguenay Fjord in Québec, near Tadoussac.

Depending on your preferences, two different outings are available:

• The Family Excursion: as the name suggests, this experience is perfect for families. You'll discover dog sledding with an expert musher for an exhilarating, unforgettable, and safe experience! If you wish, you can even try driving the sled with your guide and swap roles halfway through the ride.
• The Evening Excursion: unlike the family option, this dog-sledding excursion near Tadoussac does not allow participants to try steering the sled. It is, however, ideal for simply sitting back, being guided, and fully enjoying the magical nighttime atmosphere. It’s a truly unique and unusual experience, exploring the region by headlamp.
