Discover scuba diving in Costa Adeje by boat, Tenerife

Please allow about 3 hours for the entire experience.

• Meeting with the team at the Ola Diving Center in Costa Adeje and administrative formalities
• 30-minute theory course on the basics of scuba diving (by video or oral presentation depending on your language skills)
• Preparation of scuba diving equipment and gear
• Short walk to the boat at the port, then boarding
• Sailing to the diving spot (about 20 minutes)
• Checking and final adjustment of equipment with a safety briefing
• Participants take turns getting into the water for 20 or 40 minutes of immersion, depending on the experience chosen, to a maximum depth of 6 metres (1 instructor for 1 diver)
• Return to the dive centre, equipment storage and de-equipping in the changing rooms
• Reception of your certification and end of the activity

All participants must know how to swim and not have any medical contraindications (respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes, epilepsy, etc.) to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.

Please note that the meeting time for this activity is subject to change depending on the tide and weather conditions.

Those wishing to accompany you without diving can book their place by selecting ‘Accompanying (transfer only, no diving)’ (only if you book with the pick-up service). On site, they can choose whether or not to snorkel for 50 minutes (€45).

Your instructor offers a pick-up service at 2€ per person from the south of Tenerife (Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso, La Caleta, Fañabe, Costa Adeje, Adeje, Playa las Americas, Los Cristianos, Palm-Mar, Las Galletas, Costa Silencio and El Médano) and at 15€ per car from Puerto Santiago, Playa la Arena, Alcalá and Playa San Juan.
