Discover some of the most important volcanoes of the Canary Islands with this hiking route through the Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote!

Lanzarote, north of Fuerteventura, is the third largest island of the Canary Islands after Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The island is considered a Unesco Biosphere Reserve, and its main tourist attraction is the Timanfaya National Park, also known as the Park of the volcanoes. And did you know that this island has more than 25 volcanoes? Among the best known are the Montañas del Fuego, the Montaña Rajada and the Caldera del Corazoncillo. If you want to get to know them, don't miss this excursion through the Timanfayas National Park in Lanzarote.

The instructors of Lavatrekking take you to discover the Timanfaya Park on a hiking tour. From the village of Tias you will start an 8 km hike through the park during which you will observe different craters and volcanoes while the guide explains the fauna and flora of Lanzarote. In addition, halfway through the hike you will have a break to enjoy a delicious Canarian aperitif and a tasting of different wines from the region.
