Accompanied by professional scuba diving specialists, you'll enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience in the paradisiacal setting of the island of Sal.
Diving in Santa Maria is a real adventure, with a wide variety of underwater treasures to discover. The island of Sal is home to many pristine reefs, rich in marine life, including Mediterranean and tropical fish. The seabed is highly varied, with wrecks, deep slopes and even caves. As for the fauna, you can admire native species such as sea slugs, rays and bull sharks if you're lucky. Many turtles also inhabit this region of the Atlantic Ocean all year round!
This activity is entirely organised for your comfort and limited to 8 participants. First, a transfer is arranged between your accommodation and the diving centre. There, you will meet the centre's instructors and complete the administrative formalities. Next, you'll test the equipment provided if you don't have your own, before embarking for a 5-10 minute sail.
Once at the dive site, you can explore the wrecks, drop-offs, deep slopes and caves of the island of Sal, or admire its coral formations and rocky plateaus.
