Activity description

Discover Sardinia's underwater world with these adventure dives in La Maddalena National Park. Only for certified divers!

Located in the northeastern end of Sardinia, La Maddalena is home to a protected marine area. With more than 30 dive sites, La Maddalena is one of the most fascinating diving spots in the Mediterranean. Explore Sardinia's vibrant marine life with 2 adventure dives!

First, you'll meet with your divemaster at the diving centre and go through a short briefing. Then, you'll get your equipment and get on the boat. With a short boat ride, you'll reach the first diving spot of the day around La Maddalena National Park. Sardinia's seabed is home to a rich marine life: sponges, moray eels, groupers, lobsters, congers, barracudas, octopuses and so much more. The second adventure dive will be at a different diving spot, allowing you to explore La Maddalena as much as possible. At the end of the activity, your divemaster will lead you back to the diving centre by boat.

Course of events

- Meet your guide at Areamare Dive Centre - 52 Via Amerigo Vespucci, 07021 Cannigione.
- Briefing.
- Boat ride to the first diving spot.
- 1 adventure dive.
- Boar ride to the second diving spot.
- 1 adventure dive.
- Return to the diving centre.

Activity requirements

- The minimum age is 10 years old.
- Participants need to be certified (PADI, SSI etc.).

Special terms

- Some dive sites are located further away from the marina. In this case, Areamare will ask you for an extra fee of 10€ (Spargi, Spargiottello, La Maddalena) up to 25€ (Lavezzi islands, Angelika wreck).
- It is not recommended to take a flight until 24 hours after diving.
- Please note that the scuba diving equipment is not included. You can rent it at the diving centre.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
