Course of events
Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes on site for the entire experience, including a 10 to 15-minute flight.
- Meet at the Zion Paragliding kiosk in Jaco (free parking available on-site, accessible by public transport or walking, with shaded area and benches)
- Complete administrative formalities
- Jump in the shuttle vehicle for a short 15-minute off-road ride to the take-off
- Enjoy the views from the take-off while your pilot sets up and carries out safety checks (15 min)
- Personalized safety briefing and harness fitting (10 min)
- Take-off and fly above the Costa Rican jungle for 10 to 15 minutes
- Land safely in a large grassy field or on the beach depending on weather conditions
- Return to the meeting point to conclude the tour once the group has flown (20 mins)
- End of activity
- If you decided to purchase on-site pictures and videos of your flight, the GoPro photos and videos are transferred directly to your phone after landing
Activity requirements
A minimum of 1 participants is required for the activity to take place.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Parents must sign a waiver on behalf of minors.
Participation in the safety briefing is mandatory. Respect of the guide's instructions is required. No alcohol or drugs before the activity.
