You will have fun with your friends or family, and you will explore the beautiful island of Chrissi in the Libyan sea, just some miles away from Ierapetra!

You can go snorkeling around the island of Chrissi and the small rocky island called Mikronisi. Around the two islands, the water is quite shallow with maximum depth at 5 metres. Thus, you will have the chance to take a closer look at the octopuses, small corals, nudibranchs, parrotfish and many more.

Chrissi island
Chrissi island is an uninhabited island in the southern part of Ierapetra, in the Libyan sea. It is one of the most southern places in Europe. The island is unspoiled by tourism, and there is only one chapel, a bar, and a taverna on the island. It is 7 km long with 2 km width.

By the moment you arrive with the boat, you will get astonished by the extreme beauty of this exotic island in the middle of the mediterranean sea. You will be surrounded by a natural landscape with cedar trees, gold sand beaches, and turquoise waters. You will feel completely relaxed on this stunning island which is protected by the Natura 2000 Networking Programme, as an "area of intense natural beauty".
