In Sfakia is the city of Loutro which is believed that be the site of the ancient city of Finikas and the ancient port of Anopolis. Enjoy Crete invites you to paddle along a coast with centuries of history!

This sea kayaking excursion is a lovely trip around one of the most protected areas in Crete. This amazing outing is ideal for people with no experience at all, though previous paddlers will enjoy the sweet rocking of the ocean.

The natural landscapes filled with sea caves and wonderful beaches will catch your eye along with your paddling. Your kayaking adventure explores remote sections of the coast. A full day will allow you to start from Heraklion to Chania, about 4 hours paddling and 2-3 hours relaxing, swimming, snorkelling, walking or exploring the small fishing village of Loutro.

One of the best things about the area is that there are no big hotels with swimming pools and no overcrowded ones and also there are no cars, so you get to enjoy a real close-to-nature experience!

Magnfique journée de kayak de mer au départ de Chora Sfakion. La côte est magnifique et ce fût un bonheur de la découvrir accompagné de nos deux guides Stélios et Yves (qui est français). Très belle excursions ponctuées de pauses snorkelling !
