Activity description

Spend a relaxing day kayaking on the Split coastline and beautiful Marjan Hill while enjoying the spectacular views. Beginners are welcome!

Discover local history and culture as you paddle along the coastline, explore fascinating cliffs and beaches, and enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding islands and hills. You can choose between a tranquil morning tour or enjoying the magnificent sunset from the sea on the afternoon tour.

After you've arrived at the Bene Beach bus stop meeting point, you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable instructor who will be instantly recognizeable with a red t-shirt. They will provide a safety briefing and an introduction to sea kayaking and paddling techniques. With your belongings safely stowed in a dry bag and your life jacket fastened, the adventure begins! You'll navigate the waters with ease in the company of your guide taking in such sites as Marjan Hill, beaches, cliffs, and Titova Villa along the way. 

During the tour, you will have a beach break and can choose to relax, swim, snorkel, or, for the more adventurous, cliff jumping and deep water soloing (free climbing above the water)! In addition, you'll learn about local history and culture as you paddle along the coastline.

Please be advised that the meeting point at Bene Beach is a protected area, therefore, it is not accessible by car. If you take an Uber or taxi, you will need to walk a minimum of 10 minutes.

Whether you're a novice or a pro, its a tour you can thoroughly enjoy. Because it is about just enjoying the scenery from the Adriatic. Totally peaceful, and if you're new to kayaking like me, its the best first time :)

We were taken to Bene beach in the north coast of Marjan hill to pick up kayaks. We then made our way around, stopping briefly to hear about sights along the way. When we reached the assigned beach there was time for swimming, snorkelling and some cliff jumping before we headed back in the kayaks. We would have preferred covered kayaks than the open sea kayaks used for this trip.

We had a nice kayaking and cliff jumping experience. The weather was nice and the sights awesome, but what made it even better was our friendly and knowledgeable guide.
