Meeting & Preparation:
We offer a free pick-up service from Zagreb for 2 or more people which will be arranged after completed booking. You can also come directly to the meeting point at Tribalj - please come at least 15 min in advance. From there, we'll take you up to the take-off point by car. Your friends and family can wait for you there while watching you gliding through the sky.
Start and Flight:
Before it goes up to the sky, we'll equip you and give you safety instructions. Further, your tandem pilot will brief you in detail about the whole flight, what you have to do and what to expect. Once you are ready, you have to run only a few meters to take off. From now on, you can relax and watch the spectacular panoramic views of Vinodol Valley, its unspoiled landscape and the blue lake Tribaljsko jezero. During the flight, you will be seated in front of the pilot and recorded on camera, so this unique moment is captured.
After Landing:
After spending approx. 30 min in the sky, we'll land where we met at an altitude of 50m.

Location
A rustic inland village shadowed by a prominent mountain ridge, Tribalj is one of the most famous places for paragliding in Croatia and has the biggest number of flights during the whole year. A beautiful part of the North Adriatic coast, it is only a short 10-minute drive from Crikvenica and 30-minutes from Rijeka. Conveniently located on the main road that connects the mainland to the Meditteranean summer destination of Krk, Zračna luka Rijeka airport is only 20-minutes away.
Activity
Meet your instructor in Tribalj for a 30-minute tandem paragliding experience. Get to know your pilot as you drive to the take-off location, kitting up at an altitude of 773m and learning a few basic techniques to ensure you get off the ground without a hitch. For your scenic flight, your pilot will use the thermals to fly along the 20km ridge - exploring the coast and countryside as you glide across Kvarner Bay, Crikvenica, Tribalj and Drivenik. A relaxed and calming experience that's perfect for first-timers, the stunning landscape is beautiful all year round, with the changing seasons worth the wait. Gently descending to 50m, you will land softly - with the whole experience expertly filmed as a souvenir.
Conditions
Because of the light sea breeze and ridge thermals, Tribalj has the most consistent year-round conditions for paragliding. For beginners, Tribalj is best in the afternoon when the thermals become soft and wide in combination with laminar wind from the south directions.
