Activity description
Fly north from Zagreb in a Cessna 172 aircraft to enjoy the marvellous sight of the Zagorje's hills. Visit historical and beautiful castles, astonishing countryside, idyllic lakes and grassy hills and feel comfortable during an enjoyable one-hour panoramic flight! You will take off from Lučko airfield, located on the southwest edge of Zagreb. While flying northbound you will adore the magnificent view of green hills and cultivated vineyards. Your trip will take you to Croatia's most gorgeous castle - Trakošćan - which sits on a small hill next to an idyllic lake, surrounded by deep forests. This fortress in the Varaždin County is well maintained and dates back to the 13th century.
After soaking in this gorgeous panorama, your scenic flight continues to the lovely Desinec castle. You will have the chance to admire the breathtaking on your way to your next destination. The smaller, yet well renowned Desinec castle on a grassy hill in the middle of wide fresh fields lets you once more discover the combination of interesting historical sides and wonderful rural Croatia with the castle's neighbourhoods in the background, before heading back to the Lučko airfield.
Please note that this flight is a non-commercial cost-sharing flight which has fewer restrictions than commercial flights. As opposed to commercial airline passenger flights, the risk levels involved in General Aviation flights can be compared with risk levels found in road transportation in which you engage daily.
