On the day of your Northern Lights reindeer sleigh ride from Rovaniemi, you'll have the opportunity to be picked up by your instructor within a 10-kilometre radius of Rovaniemi's city centre. You can also arrive by yourself at the StayLapland headquarters. There, you'll meet your expert instructor, who will distribute the thermal overalls, snow boots, beanies, mittens and other winter apparel necessary to stay safe during the experience. You'll then be transported to the reindeer farm.

Next, it's time for the adventure to begin! An authentic reindeer herder will welcome you into the farm and show you to the already prepared reindeer-pulled sleigh, which will take you on a wonderful ride into the Lappish forest. Keep in mind that the temperatures in the Arctic can go from 5 to -30 degrees Celsius, so bringing very small children on this activity might not be the best idea.
