You will start by meeting your guide in Rovaniemi for this full-day or half-day snowmobile safari (pick-up is available within a 15km driving distance). Suited to groups of friends and families, this activity is ideal for total beginners and snow experts alike. You will receive a safety briefing and professional winter gear. Snowmobiles will be driven in pairs (twin riding), with a driver and a passenger on each snowmobile, and the opportunity to switch during the ride. Smaller children will sit in a sled and be pulled by the guide's snowmobile.

You will set off to explore the area’s distinctive coniferous tree line – following footprints in the snow to mystical new horizons. On a scenic route into the very heart of this immense woodland, learn how to drive out of the saddle – weaving through the dense forest to reach a wilderness cottage. You will warm up by the open fire as you enjoy a traditional campfire BBQ meal of chicken breast, sweet potato, Lappish bread, marshmallows and hot blueberry juice (vegetarian/vegan alternative upon request).

After taking in the peaceful surroundings, you set out on the second part of the tour to a frozen lake, driving to higher altitudes to better appreciate the landscape from a different viewpoint.
