At the crossroads of the Tarentaise and Maurienne valleys, AccroCamp Fort de Tamié offers a suspended experience between history and wild nature. Situated at an altitude of 900 metres, this 19th-century military fort dominates the Combe de Savoie, offering adventurers an exceptional panoramic view of the Bauges massif and Mont Blanc. It's in this setting steeped in history that you'll find installations designed to respect the stone architecture and the surrounding forest, making accrobranche at Fort de Tamié a truly unique outing in Savoie.
Your adventure begins in the heart of the fortifications, where the AccroCamp team, leader in urban and natural tree climbing, welcomes you with state-of-the-art equipment. After a briefing on how to use the continuous lifeline, a system that guarantees total safety without ever having to be detached, you set off to tackle the park's 10 courses. Between two monkey bridges or Nepalese footbridges, you'll discover original workshops such as a via ferrata built into the walls of the fort and an impressive cascade of zip lines. For the more daring, the Fort's zip line offers a vertiginous slide with a plunging view of the surrounding valleys.
The park is designed to cater for all abilities, from the youngest children aged 3 and over on the Petits Combattants course to the more experienced athletes on the Black and Red routes. AccroCamp is actively committed to preserving its environment, using tree-friendly construction techniques. At the end of your session, each participant receives a tree seed to plant, a symbolic gesture to contribute to reforestation and extend the nature experience beyond the fort's ramparts.
Open from April to October, the AccroCamp Fort de Tamié park is the ideal destination for a day out with family or friends near Albertville and Annecy. Take advantage of the picnic area or snack bar on site to recharge your batteries after the effort!
