The course will take place on 23-24-25 January 2026.
Course of events
The meeting point is at 10 a.m. near Planay, 73350. Introduction tour with bag check, followed by a moderate snowshoe walk, punctuated by workshops. Evening around a campfire. 45-minute lunch break. Return to the car park around 4 p.m.
Activity requirements
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

About the activity
50 minutes from Albertville, go to Planay and proceed to the field where the course takes place. During 2 days, you will be accompanied by a high mountain guide to ensure your safety and your learning of the different survival techniques.
Throughout your survival course, many activities will allow you to master the basics of winter survival, including
- Identifying priorities in a survival situation
- Putting together a survival kit: "the 6 C's" and the kit system
- Staying hydrated in a snowy environment
- Getting around: reading the terrain and using a map in snowy mountains
- Set up a snow shelter and choose a bivouac site
- Starting a fire in all conditions, without a lighter or matches (and why not use them)
- Optimise your equipment for the night
- Preventing and managing hypothermia
- Cold-related pathologies
