A 2 to 3 hours via ferrata outing on the famous Yves Pollet-Villard wall in La Clusaz, offering 300 metres of vertical drop facing the Aravis mountains.
- Benefit from excellent supervision by the Bureau des Guides d'Annecy, with a maximum of 6 participants per guide.
- Enjoy a modular route featuring two itinerary options (easy or sporty) and several built-in escape routes.
- Receive full safety equipment including a harness, helmet and lanyards with shock absorbers.
Course of events
Please allow 5 hours for the whole experience.
- Meet at the via ferrata car park, where the guide welcomes participants and checks registrations.
- Receive and adjust personalised technical safety equipment.
- Attend a full safety briefing covering the use of lanyards on the walls and distance management between participants.
- Follow a 15 to 20 minute uphill approach walk to reach the start of the via ferrata.
- Gradually become familiar with the height during the first metres of the wall.
- Progress for 3 to 4 hours along the vertical route, alternating traverses, ladder sections and fun obstacles.
- Cross a 20-metre footbridge suspended above the void.
- Reach the summit at an altitude of 1,800 metres and enjoy a break with panoramic views and photos of the Aravis mountain range.
- Descend on foot for approximately 45 minutes along a safe path through the Combe de Borderan.
- Return to the car park, hand back the technical equipment and conclude the activity with a debriefing.

Activity requirements
You need to be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
This activity is not recommended for people suffering from vertigo.
Minimum/maximum weight: 40 kg minimum and 100 kg maximum to fit safety equipment.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Parental authorisation is required for minors taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.
Each participant must be able to walk for 2 hours over uneven terrain and make moderate efforts.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
No previous climbing experience is necessary, and the activity is accessible to sporty beginners.
It is possible to give up and walk back down to the passage between the easy route and the sporting variant, as well as to a second escape route halfway down the route.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.
This activity is not accessible to people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility.
Pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.
