Activity description

Ocean Roots is a surf school with a friendly and family atmosphere run by surf and nature enthusiasts who strive throughout the year to share their passion and know-how with all surfers through courses and trips abroad organised several times a year.

Le Spot

Thecourses all take place at La Salie. It's a surf spot with sandbanks that evolves throughout the year and you will have the possibility to go around the beach looking for the best wave for each level.

The equipment

The oceanroots club is a partner of the ZEUS group and uses MADNESS neoprene suits for surf lessons.

The team

All the Instructors are State qualified, and thanks to their past experience in national and international competitions, and during numerous trips abroad, they have acquired a very good teaching technique and transmit their passion with pleasure to the practitioners.

The customer is taken care of by the instructor who gives him his equipment (shorty or full wetsuit depending on the season), the boards are given directly on the beach. Each instructor divides the groups according to age and level. The session lasts about 2 hours with 1.5 hours of practice in the water, the rest is devoted to explanations, demonstrations, debriefing by the instructor for each student.

At the end of the course, the instructor gives (at the client's request) a passport validating his or her knowledge in order to know his or her level as well as possible.

Special terms

The club also offers bodyboarding lessons. You will be able to tell your instructor when you recover his contacts if you wish to do bodyboarding rather than surfing.
