Located on the edge of the Côte Vermeille near Argelès-sur-Mer, the Cerbère Banyuls Nature Reserve is France's 1st marine reserve. Renowned for the richness of its depths, it is home to a remarkable array of marine flora and many species. Choose this full day catamaran excursion from Port-Vendres and enjoy all the thrills! You can start by observing the underwater life from the surface on a snorkeling tour, then go deeper on a diving experience. If you don't want to dive, Nostra Mar offers you the chance to extend the experience and take several snorkeling trips!
After setting off by boat from the port of Port-Vendres, you'll head for the Cerbère-Banyuls Nature Reserve. Once there, you'll be invited to suit up for snorkeling with a wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel. Accompanied by Marine, a biologist and friendly instructor, you'll explore the reserve's shallow waters, where you'll be able to admire colourful fish, crustaceans and other marine creatures.
After this first exploration session, you'll return aboard the catamaran to enjoy a local aperitif, followed by lunch prepared on the catamaran's plancha. The day continues with an introduction to scuba diving. Accompanied by an experienced instructor, you'll have the chance to discover and observe up close the inhabitants of these unspoilt waters. To round off this adventure, you'll enjoy a snack on board before heading back to the port of Port-Vendres.
