Come and discover or improve your surfing skills with the help of Ombak Surfcoaching on the beaches of Bretignolles-sur-Mer in Vendée!
Ombak Surfcoaching is a surf school on the Vendée coast, offering group and private surfing lessons to help you learn or improve your surfing skills. And for this, there is nothing better than the waves of the Atlantic Ocean! The school has decided to travel from beach to beach in the Vendée, depending on your level, but also depending on the weather to ensure safe and adapted surf lessons. The meeting point is at the beach of Les Dunes in Bretignolles-sur-Mer, but you may also have to meet your instructor Romain on the beaches of La Parée, La Sauzaie, or in the neighbouring towns of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie or Les Sables-d'Olonne!
Group lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers, while private lessons are given for all levels, even for experienced surfers. Each lesson starts with a warm-up, followed by a briefing on the day's weather, tide, wave conditions and wind direction. For beginners, Romain will take the time to give a theory lesson on the sand during which he will cover all the basic surfing techniques (wave catching, righting, balance, etc.). Then it's time to practice! Each lesson ends with a debriefing on the beach, during which the instructor will give you his final tips.
