PE12 and Level 1 Scuba Diving Courses at Cap d'Agde

Please allow around 3 half-days for the whole experience.

• Welcome to the CAPES Plongée diving centre, where you will find changing rooms, showers and toilets
• Wetsuit equipment
• Boarding the boat directly in front of the dive centre
• 10 to 15-minute navigation to the dive site with a briefing on safety instructions and underwater communication techniques
• Gradual launch one at a time with an instructor for each diver
• Immersion for approximately 45 minutes at a maximum depth of 6 metres
• Return to the boat after your dive, with the possibility of snorkelling while waiting for the other participants to finish their dive
• Navigation back to the dive centre (10 to 15 minutes)
• Disembarkation and de-equipping at the centre where you can take a shower
• Planning of your next dive and your theory course to complete this first session

• Learn how to assemble, check and use your equipment underwater
• Learn how to stabilise yourself underwater and how to deal with minor incidents that can occur when diving, such as water getting into your mask or mouth, etc.
• Introduction to first aid for a diver in the group
• Diving to a depth of 12 metres with a dive master

All participants must have passed a first dive and know how to swim to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
