Discover the Pyrenees with a snowshoeing hike from Cauterets to the Néouvielle lakes!
Venture through the Vallée des Gaves, equipped with your snowshoes, and enjoy a sporty hike in the heart of the Néouvielle massif. You'll start your day's walk at the foot of a valley surrounded by many hills. After a steep climb, you'll reach the first lake on your route. Over the course of your hike, you'll climb up to 750m!
Come and watch the snow-covered mountain landscapes put on an incredible show, with breathtaking panoramic views over the frozen lakes and granite peaks of Néouvielle! Cross the Néouvielle nature reserve between vast forests of hooked pine and a rich variety of flora and fauna. You'll discover some exceptional scenery on paths little known to other hikers.
Supervised by a professional and enthusiastic mountain leader, enjoy a snowshoeing hike to the Néouvielle lakes in complete safety. This walk will help you to be more efficient and independent, and above all to admire the magnificent panoramas of the region!
