Discover canyoning during half a day in the Grenant canyon, near Chambéry and the lake of Aiguebelette!
Suitable for beginners in canyoning, the canyon of Grenant includes many small obstacles cut in a wild setting. Quite long, it is nevertheless necessary to be a minimum of sportsman to be able to ensure its descent without concern. You will have to slide down natural slides, to abseil and to make jumps (not obligatory and replaceable by a descent with rope).
One of the closest canyons to Lyon (about 50 minutes by car), the Grenant canyon is located at the edge of the Chartreuse Massif, near the Aiguebelette lake and Chambéry. It is one of the best options for a first canyoning descent in the region, with an instructor at your side who will adapt to your expectations to offer you an unforgettable descent of the Grenant canyon!
Canyoning trip of 4 hours.
Approach walk : 25 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by shuttle with the guide
Return walk : 5 minutes
Activity requirements
It is necessary to be able to swim to go canyoning.
Need to be at least a little athletic.
