Experience the thrill with Snake Gliss tobogganing in Font Romeu, not far from Les Angles resort!
An unusual activity for having fun with family or friends on the snowy slopes of the Pyrénées-Orientales, the Snake Gliss tobogganing experience in Font Romeu consists of descending the resort's slopes on board a sort of small train made up of a series of 12 sledges (apart from the instructor's/pilot's sled) attached to each other. Piloted by a certified instructor, this unique little train will give you a super fun sledging experience in Font Romeu!
A total of 3 km of runs await you for around 25 minutes of Snake Gliss in Font Romeu, a resort in the Pyrénées-Orientales less than 30 minutes' drive from Les Angles and the Spanish border. Depending on where you sit in the suite of sledges, you will enjoy completely different sensations: the more cautious will prefer a place towards the front of the train, behind the driver, with children aged 5 and under between the legs of the adults, while those looking for an adrenalin rush will prefer to sit towards the back to make the most of the 35 km/h of speed felt perfectly at ground level! There will be several breaks during the Snake Gliss descent so that you can change places with the others and discover the different sensations provided by this unique tobogganing activity in Font Romeu.

3 km Snake Gliss descent (maximum 12 participants per "train", excluding children aged 3 to 5)
Course of events
- Meeting with the guide in front of the Ecole de Ski Internationale, next to Les Airelles ski lift, 10 minutes before the start of the activity
- Distribution of equipment (sledges and helmets)
- Ski lift ride (you will need your ski pass or a pedestrian pass for 8€ per person - payment on site in cash or by cheque)
- Construction of the sledges train by the instructors and briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Departure for approximately 25 minutes of Snake Gliss (3 km), punctuated by breaks to change places in the sledging train (12 sleds excluding the instructor/pilot's one)
- Arrival at the bottom of the run, return of your equipment and end of the activity
Activity requirements
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
The activity is free for children under 5, who will be seated between their parents' legs on the first half of the sledging train or with the instructor/driver.
Ski boots are not permitted.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
Reduced rate on Mondays and Sundays (€14.50).
