Enjoy a superb adventure in the heart of the exceptional scenery of the Tarn gorges, with its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking panoramas, on the Liaucours via ferrata!
Obstacles: monkey and Nepalese bridges and a footbridge, a vertiginous climb all the way up the via ferrata on limestone rock and, of course, a large zip line.
Course of events
- Meet at the church car park at the top of the village of Liaucous, Mostuejouls 12720.
- Participants are equipped with all the equipment necessary for via ferrata climbing.
- Approximately 10-minute walk to reach the starting point of the via ferrata
- Briefing from the instructor on safety instructions and who will explain the different routes you can take depending on your level.
- Approximately 3 hours on the Liaucous via ferrata
- Return walk of around 30 minutes to the meeting point

All participants under 18 must provide written parental consent.

Via ferrata is an activity imported from the Alps. It consists of an aerial walk on cliffs equipped with rungs and along the indispensable lifeline which will allow you to move around in complete safety.

There are 2 itineraries that overlap several times on this Via de Liaucous, one not very difficult and the other difficult:
Not very difficult: 1 or 2 slightly athletic sections - suitable for children and beginners.
Difficult: reserved for people with good physical qualities and no fear of heights.
Your guide will be able to point you in the direction best suited to your abilities and wishes. The Liaucous Via Ferrata in the Gorges du Tarn also has an undeniable aesthetic appeal, as during the approach and return walks, you'll be on the ledges of the Causse de Sauveterre, amidst a huge chaos of ruiniform rocks.
