Your first dive in the Port-Cros National Park begins in La Londe-les-Maures. At the diving centre, you'll meet the passionate instructor who will accompany you on your adventure to ensure your safety and explain everything you need to know about scuba diving and the equipment used. After this briefing, you'll set off by boat to a dive site in the Port-Cros National Park, more specifically near the Golden Islands (Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Bagaud Island and Levant Island). In these unspoilt seabeds, you may be lucky enough to encounter barracudas, dories, sunfish and even turtles!
For your first experience of scuba diving, you can choose from a number of dive sites in the marine reserve, including several secs (small underwater mountains), the Gabinière drop-off renowned for its fish-filled waters, and even a wreck visible at depths of between 3 and 15 metres, the Cimentier! In all cases, your qualified instructor will accompany you throughout the dive (around 30 minutes) and will do his utmost to offer you an unforgettable diving experience near Hyères.

Practical information
Discover scuba diving in the heart of the Port-Cros National Park and descend individually with an instructor for around 20 minutes!
Please allow half a day on site.
- Welcome on the terrace of the diving club
- Briefing and equipment distribution
- Board the boat just 30 metres from the club and travel to the dive spot
- Half-hour first dive
- Board the boat and return to the centre
- Debriefing, with a snack on the terrace for July and August outings
You need to be comfortable in the water to take part in this activity, but you don't need to know how to swim.
Parental authorisation is required for minors taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.
You will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire before starting the activity.
For this activity, you must not have any of the following contraindications (respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes or epilepsy). If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact us or ask for medical advice.
