That's why Maxime Carvalho, a history and photography enthusiast, invites you to discover the Ile de Ré during a 2.5 hours guided bike ride in his company!
The Ile de Ré being a rich place as much from a cultural point of view as from a natural point of view, Maxime proposes 3 bike trips from Saint-Martin-de-Ré and Loix, each one focused on a specific aspect of the island: the first one on the history and the heritage of the Ile de Ré, while the 2 others focus on its fauna and flora, with for the last trip an initiation to photography. The historical tour will take you to La Flotte while passing by some of the island's monuments, while the nature tours will take you through the salt marshes between Loix and La Couarde-sur-Mer. With the explanations of your guide, rich in anecdotes and passion, you will have a very enriching bike ride on the Ile de Ré!
