Considered one of the most beautiful rivers in the Alps, the Isère is also one of the longest navigable rivers in Europe. It is therefore a must-visit destination for white-water enthusiasts near La Plagne. As you make your way downstream, you could discover exceptional scenery ranging from the Centron Gorges to the rapids of Aime.
On this canoraft descent, you’ll explore the impressive cliffs of the Centron Gorges. Accompanied by a professional guide specialising in white-water activities, you’ll enjoy this excursion on the lower section of the Isère in complete safety, whatever your level. Throughout the trip, your guide will be on hand to advise and support you, ensuring you make the most of the experience.
The canoe-raft, also known as canoraft, is an inflatable craft similar to a raft, designed for two people to tackle lively rapids without the drawbacks of a traditional canoe. It offers excellent buoyancy, stability, and an easy introduction to white-water techniques, allowing you to fully enjoy the river as a team.
Back at the AN Rafting Savoie base, you’ll find changing rooms, showers, and a welcoming relaxation area where you can unwind after the activity, including a restaurant and children’s play area. You’ll also have the opportunity to view photos taken during your descent—and purchase them if you wish to keep a souvenir of your experience.
So why wait? Book your canoraft excursion near La Plagne now and discover one of the most beautiful sections of the Isère with your paddling partner!
