Do you have a good level of skiing and love hiking? Then ski touring in Les Menuires in Les Trois Vallées resort is the activity for you!

Just north of Val Thorens, Les Menuires is a great starting point for ski touring in Les Trois Vallées resort, in the Vanoise massif. With the help of a mountain guide who knows the best spots in the area for this discipline, which is accessible to experienced skiers who are at ease in all conditions on the slopes, you will have the pleasure of climbing the snow-covered slopes on your skis and then descending off-piste in a magnificent setting!

You will set off for your day's ski touring from Les Menuires and its ski lifts, in a small group of no more than 6 or 7 participants. The guide will take you to sites suited to your level so that you can enjoy the activity to the full under his supervision, with the programme including learning a few basics about snow conditions, avalanche research and so on. - Awareness of the behaviour of each skier in an off-piste group

Course of events

- Meeting with your mountain guide in Les Menuires (time and meeting point confirmed by the guide the day before the activity)

- Journey on foot and by ski lift to the ski touring site in Les Menuires (you need to have the Trois Vallées ski pass)

- Distribution of avalanche safety kits and harnesses, checking of your equipment, followed by a briefing on the day's activities and safety instructions

- Start of your day's ski touring in Les Menuires

- At the end of the day, return of equipment loaned at the end of the session, then return back to Les Menuires to finish the activity

Activity requirements

A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.

A good level of skiing (being comfortable in all conditions on ski slopes) and good physical condition are required to partake in the activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

You will need to purchase the Trois Vallées ski pass to be able to reach the activity site.
