Activity description
Head for the Port de la Lave at the western end of Marseille and set off on a guided sea kayaking tour in the Calanques of the Côte Bleue!
Between sea caves, turquoise coves and cliffs overlooked by a viaduct, the Calanques of the Côte Bleue offer a magnificent setting for a sea kayaking trip from Marseille. With a professional guide waiting for you at the Port de la Lave, to the west of Marseille, you will launch your kayaks for a 3-hour excursion in the Côte Bleue Marine Park, along the creeks stretching from Marseille to Carry-le-Rouet.
This sea kayaking trip through the Calanques of the Côte Bleue is a friendly adventure, with 2, 3 or even 4 people (2 adults + 2 children) per kayak! You will have the pleasure of cruising peacefully along the Corbière viaduct, which overlooks numerous creeks including the Establon cove and the Aragnols cove where you will enjoy a pleasant swim, as well as the Vesse viaduct at Le Rove. Along the way, the guide will also invite you to slip into a sea cave whose translucent waters will fill you with wonder!
With a breathtaking view of the city of Marseille on the way back to l'Estaque, your guided sea kayak tour in the Calanques of the Côte Bleue from Marseille will end on a high note, giving you some extraordinary memories of the Côte Bleue Marine Park!
- Meeting with the guide at the Port de la Lave, near the Estaque boat launch
- Briefing on the activity (sailing area, route), safety instructions and the weather
- Distribution of equipment (kayaks, life jackets, paddles and waterproof bags)
- Launch of the kayaks and departure for a 3-hour trip through the Calanques of the Côte Bleue, with a swimming break at one of the creeks
- Return to the Port de la Lave, return of your equipment and end of the activity
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Special terms
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
Pets are welcome to join this activity.
If you wish, you can rent the following equipment on site for an extra charge: water shoes, mask and snorkel, comfort backrest (€5). Waterproof phone pouches are available for €10.
