Activity description

Set off on a 14km guided walk in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel!

Step back in time and follow in the footsteps of the Mont-Saint-Michel pilgrimage to the abbey. You'll walk there and back in bare feet, treading over vast stretches of sand and channels carved out by the sea. Reach the opposite bank by crossing the river, which can be up to mid-thigh high depending on the season and weather conditions, adding a more immersive dimension to the excursion.

Let yourself be seduced by the sensations of this hike, which is accessible to people in reasonably good physical condition and to children if they can keep up the pace.

You'll be accompanied by a guide with a passion for the region for the duration of the crossing, who will immerse you in a world of conviviality and shared knowledge of Mont-Saint-Michel and the Normandy region. Discover local anecdotes and legends, understand the particularities and consequences of the tides and learn what a salt meadow is! You'll even learn the question that's on everyone's lips: how to get out of quicksand?

This guided walk in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel is the perfect opportunity to discover the region's special features while enjoying the Normandy sea air. Enjoy a unique moment in the heart of this emblematic and historic site in the English Channel.

Join the guided crossing of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel for a memorable adventure of discovery, enchantment and conviviality!
