Paragliding initiation course in Morzine Avoriaz

Paragliding training courses are the key to the sky! If you already have a taste for flying or you already know you will love it, this is the best way to get introduced to the activity!

Throughout the week you will learn the basics of paragliding flights, both in practice and in theory, with equipments adapted to your progression.

The instructors will prepare you to your first solo flights on a training slope. This initiation is mostly about learning how to control your glider from the ground and get basic knowledge of wind conditions.

Programme
From monday to wednesday (for 3 days discovery) or until friday (for 5 days initiation): you'll spend your mornings practicing to benefit from the best wind conditions.

The first 2 or 3 days will take place on the training slope where you'll discover the basic manoeuvers:
- set up the wing, inflate it, fly it
- manoeuver the glider while running down the slope before landing it softly.
During the trials, you will manage small jumps during which you fly on a few metres and discover the first real sensations of flying.

The training slope exercises are the most challenging part, you will need to go up and down the slope many times to make your gestures more automatic and instinctive with a maximum of security.

On the 3rd day, you should reach the solo flights! A pure moment of emotion and pleasure!
The first flights take place on the site of Super-Morzine with a drop of 600 metres. An instructor will help you take-off and another will be waiting on the landing area. You will be in permanent radio contact with your instructors during the flight so you don't have a reason to panic. You are alone under your glider, but never lost!
