Enjoy the thrill of crossing the Gourg des Anelles canyon, a must-see canyoning site in the Pyrénées-Orientales!
The Gourg des Anelles canyon is located in the Albères massif, near Céret and 40 minutes by car from the seaside resorts of Argelès-sur-Mer, Canet, Saint-Cyprien and Perpignan in the Pyrénées-Orientales. It is therefore the perfect canyoning site for sportsmen and women who want to fill up on adrenaline during their stay in the area!
On the program during the canyoning descent of the Gourg des Anelles: a beautiful 25 meters waterfall to abseil down, jumps ranging from 1 to 10 meters (optional), other abseiling descents and passages between walls of more than 50 meters, but also of course slides which will bring you freshness and fun during this incredible course!
If you want to combine sport and pleasure during an outdoor activity in the Pyrénées-Orientales, close to Perpignan, choose without hesitation the canyoning descent of the Gourg des Anelles!

Course of events
- Welcome and equipment: 25 min
- Approach walk: 15 min
- Descent of the canyon: 2 hours depending on the public
- Return walk: 20 min
- Time to discuss and debrief the adventure: 30 min
In total, 3 hours of canyoning activity!
Activity requirements
It is compulsory to be able to swim a minimum of 25 meters and to be able to fully immerse the body.
You must not have any medical contraindication to the practice of canyoning.
Minimum height: 125 cm (neoprene suits do not exist below this height)
Maximum weight: 135 kg
- Neoprene wetsuit jacket and 5 mm long john
- 3 mm neoprene socks
- Canyon shoes
- Helmet
- Harness, lanyards, carabiners and descender
- Backpack
- Souvenir pictures

- Closed shoes (sneakers or hiking shoes)
- Bottle of water and snacks
- Cord for eyeglass wearers
