Try the via ferrata in Villefranche-de-Conflent in the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Natural Park!
This 2.5 hour course in the heart of nature is a superb combination of rock climbing and cliff climbing in Villefranche-de-Conflent. It is also a private via, which ensures that you can concentrate on your sensations!
After a welcome at the "Canyon Canigou" base, you will leave by minibus to the site. There, the equipment will be provided: harness, helmet, karabiners, lanyards, descender, rope, gloves. Then, the short approach walk will allow you to warm up before the via ferrata. And off you go!
Accompanied by Marco, your professional and passionate instructor who knows the cliff very well, you will be able to explore in complete serenity. For your safety, you will remain attached to the cable lifeline with lanyards equipped with fall absorbers.
Once at the foot of the via, the safety and progression techniques will be explained to you and then you can set off on the first learning stage after a quick demonstration. The proposed course is not difficult and is very progressive. Little by little, you will surpass yourself and acquire new skills: abseiling, large zip lines and vertiginous monkey bridges (optional).
After this sporting moment, you will have the chance to admire the border ridges of the Catalan Pyrenees during a break. This magnificent panorama and a small snack will be a well-deserved reward!
