Activity description

Take your first diving experience to the next level with the Basic Diver course in Saint-Cyprien!

The Basic Diver SSI is a short course that allows you to discover scuba diving in a more advanced way than a simple first dive: it includes a theory course followed via e-learning, as well as 2 dives of around 20 minutes each to a maximum depth of 6 metres!

Accompanied by a diving instructor for your first dive, then with other divers of your level for the second, your Basic Diver course in Saint-Cyprien will take place in complete safety. You will dive at 2 different sites between Collioure and Banyuls-sur-Mer, an ideal area to start diving and observe a rich and varied underwater biodiversity!

Course of events

- Welcome at the dive center at 8.30 am or 1.30 pm

- Safety instructions, material distribution, then boarding of the launch

- Briefing on the activity

- Arrival at the first diving spot between Collioure and Banyuls

- Launching for a first dive at a maximum depth of 6 metres and for about 20 minutes

- Once your first dive is done (or before), you can also take advantage of the equipment (fins, masks and snorkels) available on the boat to snorkel while the others dive

- Heading to the second dive spot for the second launch, which also took around 20 minutes at a depth of 6 metres, but in a small group of divers

- Return to the dive centre

It is necessary to be confident in the water.

 

You must not have any heart or lung problems.

 

Minors must present a parental authorization.
