Share your first surfing experience in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez with family and friends, alongside qualified and passionate instructors!
The Riding Factory instructors are waiting to help you discover surfing in Vendée, on the beach of La Pège, between Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Wild and uncrowded, La Pège beach is the ideal place for your first surfing lesson in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, with waves suitable for surfers of all levels!
For 1 hour 30 minutes, your instructors, who will each take 8 students under their wings, will introduce you to the basics of this not-to-be-missed board sport in Vendée. After a short warm-up on the beach, you will go straight into action, spending as much time as possible in the water! The aim will be to enable you to ride your first waves and enjoy the incredible sensations of surfing in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez.
You are guaranteed to have fun during this surfing discovery lesson near Challans, with passionate instructors who will be delighted to introduce you to their favourite sport!
- Meeting with the instructors at the Riding Factory school, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson
- Fitting of wetsuits and allocation of surf boards according to your level and the day's weather conditions
- Head to the beach for a short warm-up and briefing on how the lesson will run
- Start of the 1.5-hour lesson, with maximum time spent in the water
- Return to the school, de-equipping and end of the activity
Activity requirements
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
A minimum number of 3 participants is required for this activity to take place.
