Set off on a 3-day trip from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to San Sebastian accompanied by a local sailboat man who will welcome you on his sailboat with half-board!
If you dream of combining hiking, meeting a local and unusual accommodation, this activity is for you! A real micro-adventure between land and sea, this activity allows you to be accompanied by a sailboat throughout your hike to discover the Basque coast. It is also a human adventure, during which you will meet a local sailboatman, ambassador of his region.
You don't need to take all your belongings with you on your hike, you can leave them in the boat! This ensures that you can enjoy the trip to the full, with just what you need for the day in your bag. There is no need to bring more than a picnic lunch either, as breakfast and dinner on the boat are included in the half-board package! On top of that, you will get to know the area well thanks to the advice of your sail boat host !
In concrete terms, you will take possession of the sail boat and share a first meal with your host the evening before your departure. After a first night on the boat, you will have breakfast on board before setting off on the journey from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Hendaye. Be prepared to be amazed! During the walk, you will be able to admire magnificent coastal landscapes, cliffs jutting out into the ocean and, above all, take the time to enjoy every viewpoint. On your return, you can relax in the boat, enjoy the beach, and even taste some tapas.
Your second day will start in beauty with a breakfast facing the Pyrenees on the sailboat! Then you will have to choose between hiking or taking the boat from Handaye to Pasaïa. This route is one of the most beautiful on the Atlantic coast. The combination of colours and contrasts on this route is magnificent! Once in Pasaia, you will reach San Sebastian, passing the most important fishing port in Guipuzcoa.
Finally, once you arrive in San Sebastian, you can admire the Bay of La Concha and the turquoise waters of the Cantabrian Sea. You will spend your last night in the boat and the next day you will have the opportunity to visit the old town and its surroundings. Afterwards, you can choose to leave by train or by boat, as you wish.

Day 3 :
Possibility to enjoy San Sebastian, visit the old town, then return by train or boat according to your choice.
Activity requirements
Sailboat accommodation is not suitable for claustrophobic or overweight people.
Special terms
Please plan to arrive at the port in the late afternoon the day before departure.
Please inform the instructor of any dietary restrictions or health problems.
Please note the layout of the yacht: 2 cabins + saloon (2 single berths, ideally for children).
Meeting time: hikers leave early in the morning and arrive at the boat in the late afternoon depending on the hike route.
Departure point: once you have made contact with the boatsman, you can decide together on a specific meeting point according to your preferences.
