Practical information
The course runs from Saturday 9am to Sunday 4.30pm.
- Meet at 9am at the entrance to the village of Nibles (04250)
- Introducing the group and checking bags
- Equipment handover and departure briefing
- A moderate walk punctuated by practical workshops:
- Survival priorities and the "6 Cs" kit
- Water filtration, knife handling, orientation
- Knots, shelter assembly, bag organisation
- Fire lighting without lighter, night management
- Alerting emergency services, first aid in an emergency
- Hypothermia, wild picking
- Optional modules depending on the weather: tracking, trapping
- 45-minute lunch break every day (packed lunch)
- A convivial evening around the fire
- Final workshops and return to Nibles in the early afternoon
- Handover of equipment and debriefing
- The course finishes between 4.30pm and 5pm on the second day.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The course is guaranteed with a minimum of 4 participants.

Practical information
Experience a complete weekend dedicated to survival in the Alpes-de-Hautes-Provence, near Sisteron. In an incredible natural environment with dense wildlife, this survival course in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence will immediately immerse you.
From the village of Nibles, after a quick round of introductions and bag checks, you'll be given the equipment you'll need for the two days. The workshops will follow one another during a moderate walk. Every lunchtime, there's a 45-minute break to recharge your batteries during this survival course. The evening is spent around the campfire, where you can chat with your guide about the different techniques. The return at around 4.15 pm on the second day marks the handover of equipment and a debriefing, bringing the course to a close between 4.30 and 5 pm.
