Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity (for example, be able to hike for half a day).

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

A minimum of 3 participants is required to run this activity.

About the activity

Suitable for children aged 12 and over, this caving excursion in the Barrage cave in the Gardon Gorges is ideal for families looking for a cool, fun activity near Uzès and Nîmes. For around 2 hours and 45 minutes, you will enjoy the cool environment of the cave (around 14°C) while discovering not only the underground world, but also rope techniques such as a 17-metre abseil and a few via-corda type passages.
