Activity description
Via Ferrata is a vertical hike on a rock wall equipped with bars and metal cables for climbing.
You will discover the Via Ferrata of Saint Paul de Fenouillet, located in the heart of Cathare country, and its exceptional panaroma on the Agly Valley, the Cathare castle of Quéribus and the splendid Gorges of Galamus!
As you will be accompanied by a professional and qualified guide, you will move around safely and will be equipped with a helmet, a harness and its ropes.
Exterieur Nature offers you to discover the most important itinerary of this Via Ferrata in 2 stages: the dizzying and sporty loop!

300 meters of difference in altitude
Level : Quite difficult.
From the parking, you will follow a trail for 5 minutes to reach the start of the via.
You will start with a +/- 25 m wall, good for conditioning and reach the 1st rope bridge.
You then follow a passage under the rock with slight slopes.
From there you keep climbing to get to the 2nd rope bridge and then to the himalayan bridge.
You will make your way back using a fairly steep and rocky path (careful where you step...).
Activity requirements
Participants must be aged at least 14 years and be in good physical condition.
Don't forget to bring a sports outfit and proper shoes (closed, walking or mountain shoes).
This route is not recommended for people with vertigo.
This activity is dependent on weather conditions and may be canceled or postponed according to your schedule if conditions do not allow a safe practice.
