Activity description
Discover canoe rafting on the Var river, a sensational activity for this summer!
Let's go for a half-day rafting trip on the Vésubie river north of Nice to live incredible sensations in white water!
Rafting is an unsinkable inflatable boat that can accommodate 4 to 8 people plus a guide. You are installed on the side of the boat and you propel yourself with a simple paddle. This sport allows you to discover the joys of whitewater in complete safety, whether you are a beginner or not!
In the spring, when the snow melts, many of the beautiful rivers around Nice, Cannes and Monaco are at an ideal water level. There are the Vésubie, the Clos de la Tinée, the Var, the Roya and the famous Gorges du Verdon. This is the best time to practice rafting! With an experienced instructor from Aquareve, you will leave for a half-day trip on the Vésubie river from the village of Levens, near Nice.
The Vésubie river joins the Var on its left bank at the height of Levens. It has its source at Lac Blanc and flows through the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, offering an exceptional rafting course on its lower part. From Saint-Jean-la-Rivière, you will follow the numerous very technical rapids which will keep you in suspense, a warm-up before the kilometer of gorges which awaits you, a very narrow section with a strong difference in level!
