These concepts will then be put into practice during a session in the lagoon, in calm, crystal-clear waters at around 28°C - these are ideal conditions for a gentle introduction or confident progression.

Two options are available depending on your level and goals. The discovery option is perfect for those who simply want to try freediving in Moorea without any performance expectations. There’s no set average or maximum depth, as everything happens at your own pace, based on how you feel and your comfort in the water. The advanced option is designed for those who already practice freediving and wish to improve their technique. The depth reached will depend on the course selected and each participant’s level, always respecting your personal progression.

To ensure attentive guidance and a high-quality experience, each freediving instructor in Moorea works with a maximum of three participants. This small-group approach fosters trust, personalized support, and safety for everyone. The excursion takes place aboard a comfortable boat with seating all around and a roof for shade. There are no toilets on board. Personal belongings can be left at the centre; only essential items should be taken on board.
