About the activity
Combining adventure, breathtaking scenery and cultural discoveries, this private excursion with tree climbing and hiking at the Ōpūnohu lookout and the Col des 3 Pinus is an experience not to be missed if you are keen to learn more about Moorea. Whether it is the island's history, its geological formations, its legends, or its flora and fauna, your private guide knows a lot of things about Tahiti's sister island and its secrets. They will be delighted to share their knowledge with you on this private experience, designed to accommodate a single group of up to 8 participants. Ready to hop into an air-conditioned van and head for the heart of Moorea?
The experience begins with one of the island's not-to-be-missed hikes, to the Ōpūnohu lookout. In just 30 minutes' walk, you will reach one of Moorea's must-see viewpoints overlooking both Ōpūnohu Bay and Cook's Bay, which surround Mont Rōtui. It is impossible not to take photos! And the same goes for the next viewpoint, the Col 3 des Pinus. Then, after about 1.5 hours of hiking, you will reach the Tiki Parc, a tree-climbing park with 8 continuous lifeline courses including various fun workshops (suspended walkways, zip lines, monkey bridges, Tarzan jumps, etc.). You will have 2 hours to make the most of it, on the courses of your choice! (2 courses are reserved for children aged 3 to 7)
Finally, to round off your private excursion in Moorea in style, your guide will take you to a Polynesian restaurant so that you can sample 100% local cuisine, adapted to your tastes and dietary restrictions, thanks to its à la carte menu. You will then have time to discuss your experience with your guide while enjoying a well-deserved meal. So, are you ready to let yourself be tempted by this private guided excursion combining hiking and canopy tour in Moorea?
