You’ll then board a rigid-hull boat for a short 15-minute ride to the day’s dive site.

Day one is dedicated to an introductory dive in Moorea’s lagoon, a first immersion designed to help you get comfortable with the gear and experience the sensations of the underwater world. On days two and three, you’ll complete technical dives in the lagoon, reaching depths between 6 and 12 meters to build your skills and confidence underwater. The final half-day takes place in the open ocean, where you’ll perform two technical dives down to 20 meters, including an exploration segment to apply everything you’ve learned.

Throughout the course, you’ll dive in natural sites teeming with marine life. To ensure high-quality instruction and personalized progress, each diving instructor in Moorea supervises a maximum of four students. The excursion takes place aboard a comfortable boat with seating all around and a roof for shade. There are no toilets on board. Personal belongings can be left at the centre; only essential items should be taken on board.

At the end of the course, a short test will assess your knowledge and grant you the Level 1 ANMP – FFESSM certification. This internationally recognized qualification allows you to dive up to 20 meters under professional supervision. While most participants successfully complete the course, certification depends on your comfort level and commitment throughout the training.
