Course of events
Please allow half a day for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the captain at the agreed meeting point and boarding the boat
- Completion of a health questionnaire and safety briefing (approx. 15 minutes)
- Briefing on the course of the activity, the use of the equipment and the rules of approach and behaviour to adopt at sea
- Material distribution
- Departure for 3.5 to 4 hours of navigation (variable according to weather conditions and search time), punctuated by information on cetaceans and listening for singing males via the onboard hydrophone
- Once the whales have been found, observation takes place from a safe distance
- If conditions are favourable, launch: safety briefing followed by launch with the instructor, discreet approach, calm swim and distance respected (100-metre swim, 15-metre distance from the animal)
- Back on board the boat (if launched), debriefing of the experience and a new phase of whale watching with a snack
- Back at the starting point, debrief the outing and share the link to retrieve your photos and videos to complete the activity
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity as swimmers.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

If you would like to participate in the activity without taking part in the launch, please book as a "Spectator".
Please note that launching is not guaranteed and that the crew may limit launching to certain people depending on their age, physical condition and sea conditions.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with pathologies incompatible with sea transport and cardiovascular effort in the ocean.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.
