If you've always wanted to scuba dive, this is your chance! This 3.5 introduction to scuba diving from Kassandra in Chalkidiki includes scuba equipment, a certified PADI instructor, and a supervised shore dive! Welcoming beginners and adventurers ages 8 and up.
Kassandra is a picturesque peninsula located in the Chalkidiki region in northern Greece. This family-friendly excursion is offered in the morning and afternoon and is the perfect initiation to the amazing world of scuba diving.
Your Discover Dive adventure begins at the Diving Centre in Kassandra, where you'll be greeted by your PADI-certified instructor. You and your group (a maximum of 4 participants per instructor) will be provided with an initial safety and itinerary briefing, followed by an introduction to scuba diving, scuba diving techniques, and scuba diving equipment. Once you've changed into your wet suit, you'll set out to the amazing scuba diving locations that best suit the day's weather conditions. Upon your arrival at the scenic beach in Kassandra, your scuba diving instructor will double-check your equipment and you'll practice breathing underwater in shallow water, under their supervision.
Once everyone in the group feels comfortable, you'll gradually descend to a depth of up to 5 metres (16 feet) with your instructor at your side. Underwater, you'll experience a truly remarkable sensation of peacefulness as you explore the colourful reefs and corals brimming with the sea life of the Aegean Sea! At the end of the excursion, you'll have a break before returning to the original departure point with a newfound love of scuba diving, happy with your Discover Dive from Kassandra!

Depending on your location, hotel transfers are available at an additional fee. Please contact the Diving Centre directly to organize transportation.
The maximum diving depth is age-dependent and ranges between 2-12 metres (6.5-39 feet).
Although this scuba diving excursion is available all year round, participants are asked to make a booking request at least 2 days in advance during the winter season (November 1-April 24).
