Activity description
When travelling to Greece, visiting the popular tourist destination of Chalkidiki (also known as Halkidiki) is a must! Known for its peninsulas, proximity to the Aegean Sea, and crystal-clear waters that surround it, snorkelling might be one of the best ways to enjoy this beautiful area!
During this 3-hour excursion, you'll head off the beaten track to a remote location on the Kassandra peninsula. Your experienced guide can pick you up at your accommodations, or you can meet them onsite. Either way, your adventure begins on the way there. You'll sit back, relax, and be treated to views of Mediterranean forests with pine and olive trees in addition to cliffs and rock formations of the coastline.
After you've arrived at the snorkelling location, your guide will give a safety and technique briefing with the equipment, followed by a site orientation which includes an overview of the marine life species you may see! Soon enough, you'll be swimming in the clear blue waters, admiring the colours and light effects as well as the reefs, tunnels, and caverns of the underwater world.
With a maximum of 4 people per group, you'll snorkel in small groups with your knowledgeable guide. Since this area has no currents or dangerous species, you can snorkel at ease and enjoy the tranquillity of this experience.

All participants must already know how to swim in order to participate in this activity.
Special terms
Please note that pick-up and meeting times are subject to change upon notification, according to weather conditions and the dive centre's schedule.
In addition, a pick-up and drop-off service is provided by the instructor. However, your accommodations must be located on the Kassandra peninsula. If you would prefer to meet at the snorkelling site, the instructor will share meeting point details via email at least 2 days before the activity date.
