The descent is quite easy, but there are some passages where it can get a bit more challenging, so it is perfect for beginners with no previous experience. Location
River Voidomatis rises in Vikos gorge, flowing across Zagorochoria, in Epirus. Voidomatis is surrounded by beautiful green scenery with traditional stone bridges and turquoise crystal-clear water. The water’s temperature rises to 8 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest river in Greece. Voidomatis is characterised as the cleanest river in Europe, too.

What to expect
You will arrive at the meeting point at the pre-arranged time, and from there you will be transferred to the starting point by minibus. You will start in bridge Aristi and in the middle of the rafting route, you will stop and visit the Ayioi Anargiroi monastery, dating back to the 16th century. Passing through Viodomatis canyon, you will end at the bridge Kleidonia.
